Each of these weight loss programs are created and/or lead by either a MD, PhD or PsyD and are based on scientific literature. I have no affiliation with any of these programs, but I think they are good based upon what I know about them and have no hesitation in recommending them to you. I’m sure there are other great programs as well that I would be willing to add to this list, but I think these five programs are a good place to start. If you would like my opinion on a program that is not listed here (or below), please contact me and I’ll be happy to share my thoughts with you.
And finally, here is a list of the people or companies I would steer clear of. I’m not linking to their profiles (SEO reasons) and I haven’t included fad diets because I don’t believe in them. Some of the people on the list below give advice that is borderline criminal it is so bad while others just aren’t good enough. This list isn’t meant to highlight the bad and become an entertainment page. If you’re really looking to lose weight and keep it off, I’d highly recommend focusing on the good companies rather than the bad companies.
